1874 Billy Dixon Rifle
In the name of the young and famous scout, who hit a Kiowa warrior at 1538 yards, shooting with his Sharps on June 27, 1874 at Adobe Walls, Texas.
Billy Dixon and 27 buffalo hunters were surrounded by more than 500 Kiowa and Comanche warriors, spurred by their “medicine man” who convinced them they were invulnerable at the “white” shots.
Produced with octagonal tapered barrel, selected walnut stock and forend with German silver cap, checkered and oil finished. Equipped with graduated rear sight with sliding plate and are drilled and tapped for Creedmoor sight.
